At Route Konnect, we replace human counting with fast, accurate automation.

We provide customers with analytics from pre-existing video that is uploaded to our secure online platform.

Cross Camera Approach

Our technology differs from our competitors because we take a cross-camera approach. With 2 years of proprietary R&D, our product enables us to record an entity’s full journey, even across large locations. Others treat cameras in isolation, creating disjointed, unrelated segments of movement. With a complete picture of a location’s usage, our customers can better optimise flows, increase safety and reduce wastage.

Our innovative technology ensures there is no need for invasive facial or number plate recognition – a world first.

We use Existing Infrastructure

At Route Konnect, we use footage from your existing cameras (even low resolution or temporary ones), so there is no need to purchase expensive hardware.

Our algorithms can perform on low-resolution footage (minimum 640×480) and low capture frame rates (minimum 5 captured frames per second).

Launching 2024 VIRTUAL LOOPS

Inductive loops were developed in the 1970’s, and often require high levels of maintenance, with expensive repairs caused by weather and heavier vehicles spanning into the tens of thousands to replace.

These inductive loops also have difficulties detecting lighter vehicles including motorbikes and cyclists.

Virtual Loops

Route Konnect is developing an AI powered, above ground solution which could see the end to inductive loops in traffic light systems.

Creating a ‘virtual loop’, this technology will be capable of detecting all road users, some of which such as cyclists and motorbikes are not always picked up by current inductive loop systems, and providing easy above ground maintenance.

This product has the potential to save local councils money, and reduce both the human and environmental impacts of having to replace these inductive loops every few years.

The technology also has the potential to control phasing of traffic light systems, making junctions more efficient, and helping to reduce C02 emissions.
